Travel Directions
If arriving by train at Wakefield Westgate Station, we are only five minutes, by taxi, from the station. (Ask for Westfield House, North Avenue, behind Pinderfields Hospital.)
If travelling on the M62 Motorway, leave at junction 30 and take the A642 to Wakefield. After approximately three miles you will come to a roundabout, take the third exit, signposted Pinderfields Hospital, Fieldhead and Newton Lodge. At the hospital roundabout go straight ahead. After a quarter of a mile, at the first junction, turn left. Follow this road past a row of terraced houses on the right. Westfield House is on the right hand side just as you come over the brow of the hill – go through the wrought iron gates.
If travelling on the M1, leave the motorway at junction 41. Take the A650 to Wakefield. Follow the dual carrigeway for about two and a half miles and at the third roundabout take the second exit, to A642 to Garforth. Straight across at the roundabout. Then turn next right, narrow road, so can be an awkward turn. Past the row of terrace houses on the right – Westfield House is through the wrought iron gates on the right hand side just as you come over the hill.
If travelling South on the A1, past Wetherby the A1 joins the M1 (To London and the South) Then follow the above instructions. If travelling North on the A1 join the M62 West and follow the instructions from M62.
